Subscription Canceled

As of November 12, 2010, 10:52 PM, Maikeru(kun) and Kyakimochi were terminated.

I will write a formal goodbye when I have time.

Sunday, August 29, 2010

Yep.

Yes, I have decided to quit FFXI.

The epic of Maikeru will come to an end very soon. I stopped playing about 4 months ago, and I really don't miss it. Oh sure, I feel the pangs of lost friendship, but that's about it. Now that the game is into overdrive, I have no motivation to even try. More importantly, I have gone back to school and I will not have time anyway.

I have already given about half my wealth away to Miasama and the random masses. I'm yet to decide how I will give away the rest. I'm trying to sell the more expensive items as gil is easier to divide. But really, I'm giving almost everything to Nightfall therefore gil will be easier for her to give away in my place.

I often consider about having one last fling, one last mission, one last party. I'm sure if I asked my cohorts, they would, without hesitation, indulge my real final fantasy of exploring Vana'diel. As of right now, I have not decided. But if I did have to decide now, I would probably like a final picture with everyone I love either at Bearclaw Pinnacle or Full Moon Mountain. Although getting to Fenrir is much easier, the snow is much prettier in my opinion.

Decisions aside, I have also considered and decided against making a farewell video. My timestamp in FFXI is merely that. Rendering a montage will only well up false emotions of being missed when in reality I am not except by a select few. Should I make a video for those select few? No. They already know I miss them as well. So therefore, it makes very little logical sense to make any effort for a media-friendly goodbye except for self-gratification. I do that enough in my spare time. (Did I just make a tmi admission? lol)

Tomorrow is another day when I get to think about my first steps into this online fantasy and final steps back into real life.

Closing time...

I'm considering closing my FFXI account. I have not logged in for over a month. Although these past two months have been pretty... current-life changing. But the thing is... I don't miss it. I just don't.

I think I'm done.

And I'm not thrilled about the level cap raising. Also, my friends are just not around anymore. So... it's not much fun. I haven't completely decided yet. I'll probably know but the end of next month.

Meanwhile... I've been playing MH3, (Monster Hunter Tri). Online play has different servers. Open servers have like 15 rooms, and the other servers have like 3-5 rooms. Each room have 20 something gates. Each gate can house 100 players max. Each gate can has about 30 cities. So... assuming my math is horrible, there are over 24,000 locations I can play. That's a lot of places I can randomly end up in.

And randomly, I chose the room with a "Clave" and a "Kyattsu."

OH MY FREAKING G

How crazy was that?! LOL! It's cool that I get to play with some familiar faces.

Anyway, that's it for now. This blog won't probably last. Sad to say.

New Direction Blah Blah Blah...

Same 'ol news. Stuff happens, things change. In my case, things have been changing rapidly and every day brings new experiences. Every week my life goes in a different direction. My heading keeps changing based on what gets thrown at me.

But anyway.

I have yet to decide my FFXI future. Maikeru is gone. Maikerukun is here, and I'm still not used to it.

I haven't even played FFXIV yet. WTF?!

And I kinda... moved out and moved into an apartment with Kya. So... ya...

Oh and Monster Hunter Tri has taken whatever time I have left for myself.

So... I think we will be creating new blogs soon. HAH! More work, I'm crazy. But I really want to do this. I really want to be able to blog everyday and post pictures everyday. So...

This blog will either stay as is (35%), change into a "gaming blog" (50%), or be terminated due to me quitting FFXI (whatever % is left over). I will be creating 1-3 other blogs. The first will be my everyday blog. This is where it gets tricky. If I quit FFXI, I will most likely create a MH3 blog... but like I said, might just be a gaming blog. Also based on my lifestyle and the goals I want to accomplish, I will create supplemental blogs based on personal fitness, art (music and photography), and possibly a... well, I won't share that one for now. The last will be a very, very small chance. Kya suggested it, and I kind of don't want to do it because I don't explore my options within that... thing. And also I've gotten in trouble for having an opinion online before. I don't need another catholic school banning me... ok, nevermind.

Anyway, I need to continue cleaning up my life and apartment. I'll post what I decide soon. Maybe next week.

Hello Sylph...

Photobucket

Slowly going through the motions of accepting the "-kun" part of name. The transition wasn't as bad as I anticipated. I think it was the weeks of reluctance that kind of prepared me for it. I feel really bad for some people who expected to have their name only to find out that it wasn't so. They didn't have the time to take in the news. They had to deal with it there and then. I feel especially bad for Nightfall (Nitefall), Barlow (Barllow), Rafa (???), and several others. They had to take a full stab as they tried to log in. I just barely registered my disappointment as I tried different names to see which looked the best.

Maikerutaru just felt too long. Michael, Maiku, Mike, and several others were already taken. Adding the "kun" made the name seem... ok... So far I haven't regretted my decision. Eventually it'll stick and I'll just swallow the crap SE feeds me. No homo.

I don't know if Nite found out (God it's going to take getting used to that name), but there's a new weapon called Nightfall. That's salt in the wound considering she's leveling DRK at this moment and it would have been her namesake. Bullshit, isn't it?

Upon logging in, I created a Linkshell called YouseiRenmei (Fairy Alliance) and gathered all the people I knew just to see how everyone was. The next morning, /Senkei/ and /Malloreon/ were recreated so everyone went back to their groups. I haven't seen Somnar or Faeryl yet. I hope they find a home. I wonder if they're avoiding me... hopefully it's just bad luck.

I joined a Linkshell called SilkDragon before the server merge and I decided to stick with them. They're a nice group, and they also seem to hang around the late hours which is perfect for me because that's when I get online.

So what will happen to WindurstianCrusade? I have no clue. No one really seems to want to stick together. I have no idea what will happen. I want all of us to stay, but I need someone else to take the reins. I can not moderate the Linkshell if I'm not around during the PST/EST afternoon times. I'm just not around for it anymore.

/pwnED/ was also recreated. I talked to Brig and he said most likely I will be able to get my BST AF. Thank goodness for friends, eh? I get AF even though I'm not there. Sure I'm paying gil for it, but it's still awesome. Loyalty pays off, and I will always believe that.

That's enough for today. As soon as I redesign my blog to fit the -kun in, I will start my facebook syncing and picture of the day.

This year is surely the year of change.

Farewell Maikeru

Photobucket

Well this is it. Server merger is tomorrow. I have yet to decide my name but here are my best choices:

1) Maikerutaru
2) Maikerurawr
3) Mootaru
4) Michael

My last day on Fairy was lame. I wasn't able to get online when everyone else was online. Oh well. I hope pwnED carries through.

As for WC... Dunno yet. I'm personally shying away from leading (or "leading") again. I'm just not interested in being serious about this game anymore. Everything is changing, and SE is taking away the most important thing to me: my identity. I have an abundance of animosity filling my range of emotions, ergo, focusing on the positive is difficult at this moment. But... watigondo.

Well, farewell for not. My future will be determined in the next few days.

More Delays

Basically I won't be setting up everything until I figure out what my name will be on Sylph. I just tried to create a character on Sylph but it looks like I'm too late. I guess whatever name I get will be what it'll be.

Changes in Life/Blogstyle

First of all, I'm getting ready to say goodbye to Maikeru. It's been a long journey, but I guess losing my name will force me to lose a portion of my image. I will no longer be just "Maikeru." It's going to be sad... I've based so many things these past few years on my name alone. Maikeru was not just my FFXI name. It's my real life alias in which I go by on the internet outside Fairy. My identity is being replaced... and it's a bit hard to swallow.

With that in mind, this blog will also be changed and renamed. Depending on the name I will take in Sylph will determine what this blog will look like. I'm hoping for a smooth transition with Maikerutaru because I actually have a few ideas what I'll do with that name.

Second, I want to become more involved with my media ideas. I will be moving forward with networking all of my activities using this blog as my central hub. Basically I will be finding ways to connect all of my online activities and make this blog a way of keeping it all together. We'll see... it's a bit ambitious, but not impossible.

Third, I will finally start one of my New Year's Resolutions: Post a picture a day. You see how it connects with my second? So basically the stuff I post on facebook will be posted here, etc. etc. Which means, more likely than not, you will see a new post nearly every day. Exciting, no?

Fourth, I'm trying to build my music library. So maybe... I will post my library. o_O Then you can help me build it?! Idea!

Well, that's all for today. The pictures will start coming in tomorrow, along with a song of the day that I download. The other stuff will be post-merge of the servers.

Name Change

So ya obviously, I need help with my name change. Something that will be easy to remember. These are the ones I have so far...

[still japanesie]
Maikerutaru
Maikerukiru
Maikerukun
Maikerusama
Maisama (LOL@this)
Shinmaikeru (Shinmai taken >_<)

[japanese-ish]
Maiky
Maiktaru

[other]
Michael (surprisingly not taken, or never made it to Jeuno AH)

The weird thing is, Michaely is taken. That's so odd.

I'm leaning on Maikerutaru because it's the easiest, but I'm still considering the others. Most especially Shinmaikeru (True Michael), but that could be just spite. But anyway, I want to decide soon and create a mule there to hold my name. Halp! :(

Meh and Stuff

Did I win the Nomad Mog Bonanza?
No.

Will I change servers?
Possibly... like 25% chance.

Will FFXI turn into WoW with the new updates?
Yes and no.

Yes because with the raised cap, everything about the game will change. Each job combo, based on what else they release, will be crazy. The level of what we already deem to be hax will be raised up a notch, and then kicked up twenty times more. With that in mind, I don't even want to think about the monster changes. Chaos will be an understatement.

No because of the level difficulty when compared to WoW. Sure when we hit the cap it'll look the same. Characters swarming with non-stop action. But the grind is still much more daunting, especially with the job combination possibilities.

What's my theory behind these radical changes?
SE is trying to cope with the depression of releasing FFXIV. I believe FFXIV will be much, much more difficult than FFXI in all aspects. Because of this, the fanbase of the FFMMO will drop... unless they stir up interest in FFXI. I believe the veterans of FFXI and those who have invested so much into their character will stay on XI. XIV will just be another chance to start over.

Anyway, that's my two cents.

Looking Back at 2009 (Part II)

First of all, thank you Brig for your kind words.

2009 was full of firsts, and more seconds. Looking back at my personality from the beginning of this past year and now, I can say I've gotten a little bit more assertive. A little bit more sure of myself. But only a little. I'm yet to reach douchebag status, but I'm working hard!

Kindness seems to get the best of me. It's a trait that is ingrained in my lifestyle. I aim to please. This past year has shown me the up and down of this part of me. To sacrifice is to love. To sacrifice what is not yours to give is foolish. I need to understand where to draw the line. This is something that will probably take months to learn, and years to focus, but a there is no better time to start than now.

I've made many decisions. Most were decent. Some were great! But far too many were terrible. So many regrets manifested this past year that I wonder how many seconds have been shaved off my life just from sheer depression and anxiety. And yet, I can say it wasn't a bad year. In fact, I can say it was a pretty damn good year.

Oh, and my beloved iPhone. Thank you my bedside reindeer. I am very grateful.

And the core of this post...

2009 brought out the decision for me to quit FFXI. I decided to live my life.

2010 has brought me recognition. FFXI wasn't the problem. It was my obsession and lack of discipline.

Therefore, I am back. But this time, it will be for myself. As selfish as it sounds, it really is the only way I can play FFXI and not let it interfere with my life. My time as an elitist player is over. The path of the relic is no more for me. Farewell endgame events. I miss you, but not that much.

My friends, I hope you will forgive me for my absence. I will still not see many of you, but I hope my ghost of an existence is enough.

I have moved on.

A Step Torwards Perfection

Finally! I get a real break!

Photobucket

Ever since the release of Salvage, I've been through about eight groups. The first one broke because people left, the second through fifth were so-so, but I didn't get anything. The sixth was actually pretty awesome and I got a few pieces here and there, but eventually I was kicked out due to the fact that I couldn't get up that early in the morning. The seventh and eight, DeathPiles and Senkei, respectively, actually got me my first ever completed Salvage piece!

Photobucket

Photobucket

This was an incredible moment for myself as I know it took years to make this happen. But it was soured by Barlow who complained that it wasn't fair that he wasn't able to lot. And of course, Salazaar and Nightfall agreed with him. I was well within my rights to lot per rules of the group. Not to mention that the final piece I needed was a 100% drop rate. I don't get it, and I never will. I'm really sad that they left the group, but... it's just too bad.

But anyway! With this, I'm able to switch to Haubergeon while keeping my haste/6-hit setup. However, since I've now switched to meat (Yellow Curry Bun), I've noticed that my WS Accuracy has dropped tremendously. I might have some adjusting to do.

Besides this stupid stupid stupid stupid drama, nothing has really happened this past week. Hmm... well... Cairstiona and Gipi finished their relics. Mandau for mommy, and Spharai for my Tarutaru comrade! I also finished my MNK AF2 set.

Photobucket

We also killed Sarameya twice. Salazaar got the Oracle's Robe, someone got the Aurum Armet, and Xharric got the Sarameya Hide. I believe he's 2/3 on seals... I have to go ask and make sure.

Upcoming ZNM Schedule:
09/24 - Anantaboga
10/01 - Nosferatu
10/08 - Sarameya
10/15 - Experimental Lamia
10/22 - Verdelet
10/29 - Mahjlaef the Paintorn
11/05 - ??? (Lamiae T1/T2)
11/12 - Nuhn
11/19 - Tyger
11/26 - Holiday

To Do List:
1. Calculate ZNM bank split (I'm missing like... 50-100k in my calculations... I might just throw it in because it was my fault).
2. Calculate /pwnED/ bank summary for the past two months.
3. Catch up to my gil schedule. I'm behind about 2 mil due to laziness.
4. Sleep.

So little time left. The New Year approaches.

Quick note: For those who know my gil-making secret if you understood my hints, please keep it to yourself. Some people won't understand.

Gamer Grub #1

Photobucket
Kim Chee Saimin with Vienna Sausage ★★☆☆☆

Befitting the stereotype, I cooked saimin noodles (similar to ramen) and added a little spiciness using kim chee. I also added some vienna sausage and kamaboko (fish cake) for a bit of sustenance. Simple and cheap!

Preparation time: N/A
Time to cook: Less than 10 minutes

Shrimp-Flavored Saimin Package: $0.50
Bottle of Kim Chee (6-8 servings): $2.40
Can of Vienna Sausage: $0.90
Block of Kamaboko (5-7 servings) $1.75

Dish Total: ~$2.15

Notes:
While cooking the noodles, add the kim chee a bit before you add the soup base so it has time to cook and spread the flavor. Also add the kamaboko a little early so it can soften up a little.

Up And Down

Where to begin...

Last Wednesday I helped Rrynn get her two of her final spells as a BLU. At the same time, I got to finally explore Beaucedine Glacier [S] and Xarcabard [S]. It was pretty fun! If painful = fun, then it was lots of fun!

Photobucket

Photobucket

These guys are super grumpy. AoE/Conal moves that take multiple or all shadows. Not to mention they hit freaking hard, can terrorize you, and strip you naked. Yes, they're perverts like Yagudos.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Again very grumpy. They weren't as bad as the Ruszors, but they link like crazy. It's sight link, but they can link from over 25' away. Evil evil thingys. They can also terrorize.

Photobucket

I got lucky this week. Sanraku wanted Wamouras, and so I got him Wamouras. 99 zeni each! So I got a total of... 120 pictures (60 each character)... that's around 5k zeni each... Then I went and killed Brass Borer 4x solo. Not so difficult, just boring. This is after the BLU hunting, so I was pretty damn tired. I got a quick nap and moved onto ZNMs.

Photobucket

Oh so very true.

Photobucket

Margulis decided to kill me. Well, he was charmed, so I don't blame him. But the other BLMs took vengence into their own hands. Good job guys!

After four Dahaks, we went to Dynamis-Qufim.

Photobucket

Grats! It only took you a couple years. ;)

During the run, PUP Cape dropped and Vegetto won. He just recently leveled it. Toth, who has been fighting for it for a while, and was the first PUP pretty much on Fairy server, lost the lot. He also lost his control and vocalized what he considered was... how do I put this into words... unfair?... it was for him not to have priority whilst using pretty vulgar language. Not only was this insulting to Vegetto (who didn't care anyway), he disrespected the entire Linkshell by exclaiming how he wasn't protected. Well Toth, too bad for you. We have rules that you accepted upon applying for membership and we followed through. I'm really sorry buddy, but I hope you have better luck in the future. I'll miss your long AFKs on Sundays most definitely.

Onto real life!

Today I found out I got a raise at work. A very nice 15%! I also got a bonus check! But I lost my bonus check at poker. Not too shabby.

Anyway, it's almost 5:30AM and I have work in 7 hours. So I should get some nap time. Bai!

Karma Payback

Photobucket

This is from Monday, I forgot to post it. We failed to pop NM at the higher floor. But we got to play as frogs!

So anyway, that bad day turned around and I had damn good luck. All my lots were 900+ in Dynamis-Beaucedine for a while and people were starting to think I stole Homero's lot bot (joke).

Photobucket

Photobucket
(picture turned out better than I expected)

Inventory +10! Wewt!

The Etoile Tights gives me a full amount of 21% haste in TP gear. Thank goodness for inert DNC accuracy!

Photobucket

Mia being random. <_<;

Tonight I played poker at my friend's house. I actually won! I won't put an actual amount, but let's just say I'm about even in my winnings and losses now. So good for me!

Anyway, I might be online tomorrow but there's a poker tournament I'm invited to. So... I don't know. Depends on my friend if she's going or not. And also whether I have permission. ^_^

Good night!

From AMK to Zeni

First of all...

DISCLAIMER WARNING: This post contains images and information pertaining to the new FFXI Expansion "A Moogle Kupo d'Etat," also known as AMK. This posting contains spoilers. Please be advised.

That being said, this post is going to be pretty long as it covers a bunch of stuff. So let's dive in!

Photobucket

I figure I'd start with the sexy Nightfall. This was during Dynamis-Valkurm and she was supposedly talking about needles from Cactaurs... yea. ^^

Photobucket

Randomness...

Photobucket

I got this from the ??? Sash from Red vs. Blue Assault. No one wanted it, so yay for me! This is arguably the best piece for WHM if you want to max out your -Enmity. Good piece once my WHM hits 75. I get to sell my Penitent's Rope! :D

Photobucket

We fought this bastard two weeks ago for some seals. Awful awful bastard that I want to stab. Luckily for this run we had support from Senkei. It was a good thing. I sort of doubt we would have been able to beat him without the help. Basically, this guy has a combination of charm, Astral Flow, and multiple AoE attacks. Just an overall badass. I'm sad we have to keep fighting him. We need seals from this guy for Sarameya.

Photobucket

Along with AMK, this past update also introduced the new Union system to Campaign. Basically, after getting your Allied Tags, you register for a random union. At the end of a campaign battle, depending on how well your union fought, you receive spoils from the battle. It's pretty random, but some items are worth a bunch, and of course the highly sought out Dynamis currency also drop. The more members in a union, the greater the number of drops at the end of the fight because your union is more likely to kill more beastmen. However, the more players, the more competition. So it's a tossup.

Photobucket

With the update, you can now augment pretty much anything. This is one of the new crafted items and the possibility of augments. There are a whole bunch of screenshots on KI and BG forums of some possible awesome augments. This is a screenshot of a random galka passing by. I might try for this one day. I think Demenic is trying to get a group together for it.

Photobucket

Like I said earlier in the disclaimer, if you do not wish to see spoilers, do not read on.

Overall, this expansion was pretty decent. The quests are not as irritating as ACP, and the final BCNM wasn't so aggravating. The best part was the fact that I did not have to climb Delkfutt's Tower. Just thinking about that portion of ACP makes me want to punch this screen. They also did a great job on the cutscenes. Maybe it was just the fact that it was mooglicious, but the details were executed very well.

Storyline: 6.5/10
Cutscenes: 8/10
Music: N/A (sound was off lol)
Value (Reward): 9/10
No Delkfutt's Climb: +5

Overall: 28.5/30

Here are some screenshots of my journey...

Photobucket

This was the protagonist of the storyline. Cute little fella.

Photobucket

Poor little guy got stuck in the treasure chest!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Ok maybe it's because I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to some of these images... BUT DAMN! I was so freaked out watching this cutscene. I mean, it doesn't look too scary as still pictures, but while it was animated I was getting chills. The eyes were pretty freaky and I had flashbacks of Evangelion. What freaked me out the most were the bloody handprints. Can anyone say Elfen Lied? Maybe I just watch too much creepy, religious, and symbolic anime.

Photobucket

I found this NM wandering around while doing one of the quests for AMK. I remember Azulmagia trying to camp this guy for drops or something... idk. XD

Photobucket

Hello Kitty?

Photobucket

Photobucket

The antagonist of the storyline, the boss moogle was... well... the boss! I didn't take pictures of the last BCNM fight (because I was doing my best not to screw up), but basically this guy goes crazy and gains huge powers. Keyword: huge.

And is it just me or does the second picture look like the resurrection of Jesus? I wonder if it's a sin to compare God to a video game...

Photobucket

Photobucket

Also the boss takes triple damage. Nice little e-peen going here!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Trojan Taru~~~!

The reward of my endeavors. This is a big "FUCK YOU" to Maat's Cap, Wyvern Helm +1, and Shura Zunari Kabuto +1. It is possible to get a full STR+6, but according to the SAM Union on KI, WS+2% is > STR+2. What makes this awesome is the WSACC+15. That's freaking amazing to be combined with a STR piece.

There are only two things that can be arguably better than this: Wyvern Helm +1 with STR+3 augment, or Gnadbhod's Helm. Both of which are a bitch to obtain, or, in the Wyvern's case, pretty much impossible.

I could have also gotten a full accuracy helm with Acc+10/Atk+5, WSAcc+15/STR+4. This would be awesome for THF, MNK, or any other multi-hitting weapon skills. But I enjoy SAM more than any other melee job, so I went with what I have.

Anyway, it's been a long day, and a long post. Good night!

Happy Birfday to me!

Photobucket
Much love to my girlfriend Kya (right) for the lovely iPhone 3GS. I no longer have to buy a video camera to cover our nightly romps.

Poker games. Not the dirty stuff. You pervert.

That stuff stays off camera.

Photobucket
This is my nephew and one of my best friend's daughter. It would be so cool if they ended up as friends in the future. Not like I'm trying to hook them up or anything. XD

The camera quality is decent. I had to photoshop and smooth out these two pics. But it's way better than my blackberry camera, and much easier than buying a new camera. I might have to find a flash app though.

I took this entire week off for my birthday. On Sunday, Kya's family decided to party and make some BBQ. Lots of fun! Kya likes the Loaded Corona Light w/Lime. ^^

On Monday, the girls took me out to The Counter, arguably the best burger restaurant on the island. People will argue for Burgers on the Edge... but I doubt they'll step up to it. I have to go and try for myself. Kya gave me the iPhone, and Nikki got me a new memory stick and Patapon 2 for my PSP. Beck bought me a cover for my iPhone.

After The Counter, we watched Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It was... ok. Great considering the story and what they had to condense.

After that we went to Max's Restaurant in Waipahu. It's a traditional Filipino restaurant that is famous for its chicken. Personally, I don't like going there because I'm not a big fan of Filipino food. My mom caught the drift and ordered decent food that wasn't completely traditional. Good call mom! My friends had fun!

On Friday I get to have Poker. I can't wait. :D

The new AMK (A Moogle Kupo d'Etat) expansion is out! It came out last week, but I gave it a week for information on missions to come out. I learned from ACP that going off on half-baked rumors and strategies makes it stressful experience. So I decided to wait this time. So far, the story seems interesting. It's very cute, and at the same time, very very creepy. I'll post pictures later.

This is probably the best birthday I've ever had excluding my 18th birthday/grad party. That was awesome in a different way. But this tops everything else by a long shot.

Off to farm Zeni.

Swatting Flies, Faulty Token, Frog Hopping, and Loving That Bush!

As you can tell from the title, it's been a busy week.

I forgot to post this, but a two weeks back before ZNMs, Marg went after a Voyager Sallet. We got lots of rings and bandanas, but unfortunately, not helms.

That same day I did Salvage with Senkei for the second time.

Poor Harp. I bet he didn't think I was serious.

Lots of charmed fun obviously. This is one of the many times we were charmed and kited. We look adorable, but such a time waster. I really wish drop rates were higher.

On Sunday, I tried to log in. My passwords did not work. I freaked out and thought I was hacked again. Customer service was out for the weekend, so no help there. I tried to log into the SE Token website. I found that I couldn't. At this moment I came to the conclusion that there was probably something wrong with my security token.

On Monday, I contacted customer service (took about 4 hours waiting on web chat) and my deduction was correct. They disabled my one-time password and I was able to log in again. I have to mail my token in to get a new one. At least it's free.

Today we went to Dynamis-Qufim. Nothing exciting. We got a bunch of good regular AF that people red-dotted for, so can't complain. On the accessory side, we only got RNG.

After this, we did Divine Might.

From that list of names, about 13-14 of them were people who actually signed up for the event. The rest were kind-hearted and just came out to help on a whim, including Chrisstreb to whom I am totally grateful. Of that 13-14, about 6 or 7 actually needed the quest. The rest signed up to help.

It went pretty smooth. We took the four tank/kite strategy and took out the AAs one by one.

No words can express how I feel about this AA. Actually, a few words come to mind, "bitch" and "hax" being at the top of the list. I was in charge of Marg, who was in charge of EV. It was such a pain in the ass. EV has a directional cone Shield Bash which does damage and stuns which irritated the hell out of me. Marg eventually died when the alliance focused on EV, and she wiped a good portion of the alliance. But we eventually took her down.

And here is the summary:

My SAM gets a well-deserved one-up.

All in all, a good couple busy days.
