Ok a recap of the last two days!
Monday we had Nyzul Isle Investigation. Only two runs this time because some people forgot their tags. Again, Denali Bonnet did not drop from 100th floor. =( However we did get Askar Manopolas on the 60th floor and I won the lot (only one lotting). I did another run last night with a pick up group and Denali Jacket dropped! But again, out lotted. That's the 3rd time it's happened, the 2nd time Kriptin got the drop. I'm still a little peeved that I've been working on Nyzul longer than he has, but he has completed most of his sets. But oh well, he IS very lucky.
Last night I also did ISNM3k Shadows of the Mind with a pick up group. I went as SAM and pretty much slaughtered the NM. I was stealing hate from a DRG and NIN just from meleeing. Some runs I didn't even WS and I was already tanking. A little sad. On the last run (my turn) I switched back to Hagun for fun. At about 50% I did a 4-part SC using Meikyo Shisui.
Tachi: Gekko > Tachi: Kasha (Fusion) > Tachi: Rana (Gravitation) > Tachi: Gekko (Darkness)
The great thing about this SC is that it's 4-part and ends at level 3, which means it does 175% max potential damage, as opposed to the 3-part Light which has 150% potential damage. Second, because the NM was a Puk, it absorbs Wind-type damage. Since Wind is part of the Light spectrum, a Light SC would be 25% resisted. Third, you open AND close using Tachi: Gekko, which is usually the most damaging WS for SAMs. That usually means better SC damage. And fourth... the animation sequencs is just cool. I've also liked Fusion's explosion. Gravitation is a big dark ball being absorbed, and (the really cool part) Darkness bringing that ball back out and exploding.
Oh, and I also got a Chunk Of Khroma Ore which sold last night out on Rolandberry for 300k.
Ok off to work! Aloha!
